Description

This coral does not have a hard calcium carbonate skeleton. Soft corals can thrive in waters with a little more nutrients and they consume elements slowly to grow their structure. As a result the calcium and alkalinity levels will not be rapidly consumed and an easier low tech system can be used with ease.
