Fragments are around 2-3″ inches in height with about a 1″ inch diameter top.

Toadstools are of the Sacrophyton species. This variation grows out into a large mushroom shape.

Trouble shooting: Most leather corals will develop a smooth skin every so often to shed off unwanted algae or pest from their surface. All the polyps will retract for a few days. I have seen them retracted for over a week at times depending on what is bothering them.
