Description

Toadstools are a Sacrophyton species. This variation has green polyps and grows out into a clean inverted umbrella with good structure and curved edges. We have had these in our systems since around  2010.

Lighting: medium – high lighting 150-450 PAR.

Flow: medium – medium high

Care Level: Easy

Original Location Range: Indonesia, Coral Triangle, South Pacific

Grown in our California coral farm where we provide zero impact corals

Water chemistry: Calcium 400-450, Magnesium 1350, KH 7-9.5, pH 8.1-8.4, Nitrates .01-10, Phosphates .01-.1 salinity 1.026

Trouble shooting: Most leather corals will develop a smooth skin every so often to shed off unwanted algae or pest from their surface. All the polyps will retract for a few days. I have seen them retracted for over a week at times depending on what is bothering them.
