These Blackbeard zoas are have a bright light blue polyps with light pink centers. They are easy to keep and require moderate lighting with medium flow. Place them either on lower or middle part of the aquarium where it will get plenty of nutrients and trace elements.
Zoanthids come in may different sizes, and colors. They will definitely brighten any reef aquarium, and are an easy coral to keep. They are also know as polyps corals.
They will reproduce easily in the reef aquarium by budding (splitting off a portion of their base or mouth) to increase the size of the colony
Zoas should also be fed supplemental foods such as, filter feeders, zooplankton and phyloplankton.
